xHTML Editor Toolbar

Apply Character Formats

- Toggles the current selection between bold and a regular format text.

- Toggles the current selection between italic and a regular format text.

- Toggles the current selection between underlined and a regular format text.

- Subscript. Lowers the selected text below the baseline and changes it to a smaller font size.

- Superscript. Raises the selected text above the baseline and chaneges it to a smaller font size.

- Changes selected text to uppercase.

- Changes selected text to lowercase.


XHTML Editor drop downs

Custom text styles - applies one of the styles specified in the website's style sheet.

Predefined text styles - applies one of the predefined (standard) styles to the selection. Standard styles are viewable even with the old browsers.

Predefined fonts - applies one of the (standard) predefined fonts to the selection. Standard fonts are viewable in most of the browsers and on most of the platforms.

Font size - applies size to the selected text.

Font color - applies color to the selected text. You can define your own colors by selecting the Custom item of the menu. Refer to Creating Users for more information.

Align Paragraph

- Centers the current paragraph, graphic, or table in the middle of the page.

- Aligns the current paragraph, graphics, or table to the left margin of the page.

- Aligns the current paragraph, graphics, or table to the right margin of the page.

- Justifies the current paragraph, graphics, or table.

- Indents the selected paragraph to the previous tab stop.

- Indents the selected paragraph to the next tab stop.

Apply Paragraph Formats

- Toggles the current selection between an ordered list and a normal format block.

- Toggles the current selection between a numbered list and a normal format block.

Delete Text and Graphics

- Removes the selection from text and places it to the Clipboard. This command is available only if you have selected an object or a text.

Copy and Move Text and Graphics

- Copies the selection to the Clipboard. This command is available only if you have selected an object or a text.

- Inserts the content of the Clipboard at the insertion point, and replaces any selection. This command is available only if you have an object or a text.

Add and Edit Hyperlinks

- Inserts a new internal/external link or edits the selected hyperlink. The internal hyperlink points to the page or to the file located at SiteSupra web site. Refer to Approving Editing section further in this documentation.

- Toggles link to open in the same or new window.

Insert and Edit Table

- Inserts a table in the text with the number of rows and columns you specify.

- Sets various options to the table such as table width, align, and background, border size and color.

- Inserts a row into the table above the insertion point.

- Inserts a row into the table below the insertion point.

- Inserts a column into the table to the left of the insertion point.

- Inserts a column into the table to the right of the insertion point.

- Inserts cell after selected one.

- Inserts cell before selected one.

- Merges the current cell with the cell before into a single cell.

- Merges the current cell with the cell after into a single cell.

- Deletes from the table the row which contains the insertion point.

- Deletes from the table the cell that contains the insertion point.

- Deletes from the table the column that contains the insertion point.

- Turns on or off table borders.

Add and Edit Images

- Inserts a picture in the text at the insertion point. Refer to Operations with Files to get more information about File Manager window.

Special Functions

- Inserts a horizontal line in the text at the insertion point.

- Changes view between normal and HTML source.

- Toggles typing between normal and overwrite mode.

- makes a text copied from another application browser friendly. This function removes any non-standard tags used in MS Word, Excel and other applications.
