Table Editor

Overview

Table Editor is used to input and manage tables on the web pages. It is built on the paradigm similar to one used in MS Word.


Insert Table: Table window

Creating Table

  1. To insert a table on the page, place a marker in the text where you would like to place the table, click Insert Image button, Table window pops up.

  2. In the Table window you should specify:

Number of Rows and Columns in your table.

Cell padding - the indent of text from the cell's borders.

Cell spacing - the spacing between cells in the table - default value of both cell padding and spacing is one.

Table width - the table width relatively to width of the HTML cell the table being inserted in.

Background Color - calls Color Editor.

Border Width

Border Color - calls Color Editor.

Managing Table Properties

To manage table properties click Edit Table button, in the pop up window select Table tab and operate with the properties in a fashion similar to creating the table

Use table editing functions avaialble on the XHTML window main toolbar and described in xHTML Editor Toolbar.
