Sorting Pages

You can use the Site Map window to organize pages and folders. The pages can be sort in folders by different criteria:

  • by title
  • by date
  • by page property
  • manually

Changing page sort order may affect your site. For example, blocks Fodler View, Site Map, and Menu display page titles in order they appear in the Site Map window. For example, you can sort pages in Press Releases folder by date in ascending order, whereas pages in Products folder can be sorted manually depending on a product price or promotional campaign. Thus, you can move important pages to head of the list, to spot site visitor attention.

Sorting Pages by Title

Pages can be sorted by title either in ascending or in descending mode. Select a folder and click the Sort by Title button to sort pages in ascending order or click the Reverse Sort by Title to sort pages in descending order.

Sorting by Date

Sorting by date can be also performed in ascending or descending order. Select a folder and click the Sort by Date icon or the Reverse Sort by Date icon.

Sorting by Name

Sorting by name can be also performed in ascending or descending order. Select a folder and click the Sort by Name icon or the Reverse Sort by Name icon.

Custom or Manual Sort

To manually sort the order in a folder, click the Manual Sort button. Then, select a page in the folder and click the Move Up or Move Down buttons to move the page up or down in the folder.

Sorting by UserInt

SiteSupra allows you to create your own sorting method based on UserInt page property. By default the property is disabled in the SiteSupra demo site. Ask your SiteSupra Integrator about this function.
