Understanding SiteSupraSiteSupra is used to manage websiteâÀ™s content: contribute new and edit existing pages, add and format text, add and edit websiteâÀ™s features and applications. SiteSupra CMS is specially designed to allow even very sophisticated management operations for regular computer users through a set of user-friendly and intuitive concepts. One of them is possibility to work with actual prototype of the site and with not an abstract set of documents as it usually is other systems. Most of the operations in SiteSupra concern pages and blocks. SiteSupra page structure has a convenient tree-like look and feel: the pages are structured into sections, and operations with them are similar to operations with files and folders in the Windows Explorer on your Windows-operated machine. You can create a page under a folder and move it along the page structure of the site. The pages in SiteSupra are based on Page Templates that serve for controlling many pages at once. In order to allow several users working with the site simultaneously SiteSupra supports access rights system that limits the access to the pages that are being edited by other users. Also, the user can be assigned to specific page or groups of pages only, and couldnâÀ™t edit the rest of the pages on the site. Before you can start editing you should check-in page for editing by clicking Edit Page button below the SiteSupra Console. The pages are structured into the layout, which contains blocks. The blocks perform different functions âÀ“ search, menus and text areas are blocks. Blocks have different properties you can manage, for example while managing text you working with the text property of the respective block. The properties of the block are shown in the SiteSupra console and you can view them by right-clicking the block on the page. Important to know:
