Page Template

Along a page layout a page template or hierarchy of templates helps you control website outlook in a fast and easy way. A combination of template and layout ensures that all pages have the same look, or several combinations of layouts and templates may be used to present site content in a different way depending on the website area.

Page template is a kind of SiteSupra page that has its own layout, blocks, and content. When you assign a template to a page, the page inherits blocks, their content and layout from the template. Later on, to change the outlook of the website you have to change the template or the layout and the changes will affect all the pages that are based on the given template.

Depending on template hierarchy you can enable block-level access rigts, so that some blocks could be closed for editing on target pages. The hierarchy of templates lets you restrict editing rights for the blocks that for example should have the same look on all pages.
